Welcome to Scubapic. We are a Brisbane based underwater photography company that specialises in babies and children underwater photography. 

Our Story

Scubapic is a family run underwater photography business based in Brisbane. We have been taking underwater photo’s professionally for over 8 years.

Originally from the UK our love for diving and the ocean took us to Cyprus where Melanie became a PADI certified scuba diving instructor and Dave learnt to dive before achieving his PADI Divemaster certification. 

Our next adventure took us to the Red Sea, Egypt. This is where Dave learnt the art of underwater photography. Dave started by taking photos of marine life before moving into taking photos of people learning to scuba dive, hence the name Scubapic. We then came to Australia and were based in Sydney and continued this concept on a part-time basis.

After the birth of our first child and our obsession with taking photos of our daughter, we decided we had to get a photo of her underwater. This was when our focus changed to babies and children underwater photography. 

At Scubapic we use specialist underwater camera equipment that enable us to get awesome professional pictures of your child.  

Our photographs have featured in magazines and on an Australian national TV program.
